You enjoy a community-minded environment and you are keen to work as part of a team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ESSENTIAL SKILLS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Advanced knowledge of Excel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meticulous attention to detail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience using Mastertour a strong advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;The job description includes but is not limited to the following areas of responsibility:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;<strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;LIVE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare touring budgets\/alternate scenarios and be able to make recommendations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with booking agents, signing contracts, checking routings and tour details including announce plans and marketing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee all tour logistics working with Tour Director or Tour Manager (and manager), including work visas, travel, tech and hospitality riders, advancing shows\/events when required, stage set design and ordering gear\/transportation and shipping logistics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working and negotiating with production vendors, bus, truck and freight suppliers to ensure gear, transport and logistical needs are locked in well ahead of time and to budget.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hire, liaise, negotiate with, and communicate with artist band and crew (tech, musicians, etc).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure all songs and set lists are properly registered, working with admin department.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GENERAL MARKETING<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Share updates with label\/marketing team, follow through on all projects, specifically execution of social media posting, monitoring and interaction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend all management and marketing meetings related to the artist and act as central communication hub including assisting with setting agendas and keeping projects on task.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage artist website updates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee accounts such as Patreon\/discord\/substack etc., where necessary.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TOUR MARKETING<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure all tour marketing posts\/announces\/pre-sales\/updates are diarised and executed correctly (including tags\/hashtags) and in a timely manner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with promoters\/manager on asset creation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure all show marketing plans are delivered by promoters, advise where edits could be made and that activities take place at the correct time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring ticket sales and flagging areas of concern.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consider physical retail marketing in touring markets (local record store opportunities etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SOCIAL MEDIA<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work with artist to oversee and execute social media posts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain a strategic social media calendar and gather and suggest assets and copy for approval.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bring forward creative ideas for social content.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain content files\/folders for easy use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor and maintain all social media accounts (for spam, reply to fans, shares etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with label marketing on the coordination\/integration of label driven social media campaigns on artist social media platforms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MERCHANDISE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In consultation with manager and merch company\/team, plan merch strategies for both touring and webstore sales. This includes product mix, co-ordinating designs and researching potential designers, sourcing product, planning quantities, soliciting quotes etc. in a timely manner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Planning and executing efficient shipping strategy for tour, including tracking responsibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with merch fulfillment company, webstore operators and tour merch team to manage inventory and marketing graphics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plan and execute a social media marketing plan for merch sales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ADMINISTRATION AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide production assistance &amp; management to all photo &amp; video shoots, live stream performances, interviews, recording sessions etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply for and complete all grants (touring, recording, other projects) keeping track of upcoming deadlines and project managing the application process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage and maintain the artist calendar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain admin\/personal information files as well as portals and password maintenance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage\/organize artist files in an easy to use and orderly fashion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with label\/publisher on metadata and album artwork and credits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with business manager where relevant for payments and receipt maintenance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Special projects for artist, as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other duties as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Job Specs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Reporting to:<\/strong>&nbsp;President of Six Shooter Inc.<br><strong>Hours:<\/strong>&nbsp;Monday-Friday 10:00AM \u2013 6:00PM<br><strong>Location:<\/strong>&nbsp;Toronto-based exclusively. This is an in-office position 5 days\/week.<br><strong>Compensation and benefits:<\/strong>&nbsp;$60,000-$70,000 annual salary. Health and dental benefits. 3 weeks vacation, plus the week between Christmas and New Year\u2019s Day.
